CYCLING GLOVES FOR TERRY BIKES

ASSIGNMENT:

Work with local cycling company Terry Bikes to develop products relevant to their particular niche of women's cycling.

SPIRIT OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

The point of this assigment was to hone skills related to dealing with an actual client. Presentations and accurate communication were of the utmost importance.

MY DESIGN:

I chose to focus specifically on problems relating to the hands as the scope of my project. After initial research and exploration of these problems, I narrowed my focus down to the problem of gloves being especially difficult to take on and off, as well as to dry after use. My final design includes a new system for removing the glove, that allows it to open much further than normal. The system also allows it to open flatter for faster drying.
